Solar for low income home owners
HAVING solar installed on our homes is a great way to reduce our energy bills, but people in households at the lower end of the income scale are often disadvantaged as they are unable to install solar due to the cost.
Zero Emissions Noosa (ZEN), is supporting g people at the lower end of the income scale to have a small solar system installed at no cost to them.
“Low income households are often disadvantaged as they are unable to afford to install solar due to the cost” said Mr Lambie.
Sustainable Homes focus
On Sunday 4 May, there will be Sunshine Coast sustainable homes Noosa, Woombye and Reesville that are open to the public.

Transport and future
ZEN sets out transport plans
Noosa council’s Transport Strategy 2017-2027 was a great plan but without measurable outcomes, a clear action plan and insufficient funds it’s a failure of governance and impossible to progress, Zero Emissions Noosa (ZEN) members told council on Monday (Jan 20) before suggesting four outcomes and ways to achieve them.

Recently interviewed as part of Rewiring Noosa – Electrify Everything’s focus, Gareth had a lot to contribute about how to plan ahead for the often harsh Queensland climate and how best to leverage the sun for great rewards, both financial and emotional.
More recently, induction cooktops have taken the market by storm, boasting impressive spontaneity and instant reactivity.
