Electric vehicle experiences for Noosa Shire residents
Project description:
Our project will facilitate test driving of electric vehicles to influence consumer choice. The proposed project will offer cost-free electric vehicle experiences for Noosa Shire residents.
By providing electric vehicle test driving experiences to the general public, we will facilitate major uptake of electric vehicle usage. We will increase uptake of electric vehicles by providing people with free trial usage of electric vehicles to get them sold on purchasing their own electric vehicle. Cars will potentially be housed, charged and changed over at the Peregian Beach Community House.
This project will include a longitudinal study to evaluate the effectiveness of the electric vehicle trials. Data to be collected will include:
Baseline survey (barriers to purchasing EV, opinions, etc.).
Optimal electric vehicle experience length (60 minutes, 2 days or longer?)
Post electric vehicle experience survey immediately after experience
Survey again in 1 year (have they purchased an EV? Why?)
Survey in 5 years (have they purchased an EV? Why?)
